Bite Of White House Security Member, President Joe Biden's German Shepherd Discharged

JAKARTA - President Joe Biden's two German Shepherds and first lady Jill Biden were returned to the Biden family home in Delaware last week. Each of the dogs were named Champ and Major.

CNN sources said the two were repatriated due to the Major's aggressive behavior at the White House. Adopted from a Delaware animal shelter in November 2018, Mayor is described as being involved in a White House security bite incident.

The true condition of the victim is not known, however, the condition was serious enough that the dog was later transferred to Wilmington, Delaware, where they live. CNN contacted the White House for comment and received no immediate reply.

The 3-year-old major is known to exhibit frequent agitated behaviors, including jumping, barking and 'attacking' staff and security, according to the source, regarding the behavior of dogs in the White House.

While another dog Champ, Joe Biden, is known to be around 13 years old and has slowed down physically due to his advanced age. Champ and Major moved to the White House in January, less than a week after Biden's inauguration.

"I am obsessed with taking care of our dogs because we have old dogs and we have very young dogs," Jill Biden told Kelly Clarkson last month while appearing on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show'.

"They have to take the elevator, they are not used to it, and they have to go to South Lawn with a lot of people watching them. So that is my obsession, making everyone calm and calm," he continued.

Biden also said the only place dogs weren't allowed was on White House furniture, although he admitted to catching Major on a sofa.

"They were running all over the place," said Biden.

Someone with knowledge of the dogs' schedules confirmed to CNN they were in Delaware. The dogs are known to live there with supervisors when the First Lady is out of town.
