"Our priority is to ensure this assistance reaches the hands of those in need, especially in isolated areas," said Muhammad Saleh.

Recent conditions show that around 3,000 residents from 12 villages in Latimojong District are still isolated due to disasters.

The local government has set a natural disaster emergency alert status until May 16, 2024, while disaster response status will last for one month, from May 3 to June 3, 2024 to focus on handling isolated areas.
