The Body In A Suitcase In Cikarang, The Perpetrator Was Recorded By CCTV Hotel In Bandung

JAKARTA - A viral video on social media shows the face of the perpetrator who allegedly killed a woman named Rini Mariany (50). It is known that the woman's body was found in a suitcase in the Cikarang area, Bekasi Regency, West Java.

The video uploaded by the @KamJakarta account, was seen by the perpetrator and the victim entering the hotel room on Wednesday, April 24, at 09.51 WIB.

Shortly thereafter, on the same day at 18.40 WIB, the perpetrator left the hotel carrying a suitcase that allegedly contained the victim's body.

The next day, Bekasi residents were shocked by Rini's body which was found on the side of the road in the Cikarang area, Bekasi Regency, West Java.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary, confirmed that the perpetrator was in Bandung, West Java with a suitcase. This is known based on the hotel's CCTV footage.

"The alleged perpetrator was caught on CCTV by a hotel in Bandung," Ade told reporters, Wednesday, May 1.

Now, a man suspected of killing a woman named Rini Mariany (50) whose body was found in a suitcase in the Cikarang area, Bekasi Regency, West Java has been arrested by the police.

"The team managed to secure a man suspected of being the perpetrator of the murder of a woman whose body was found some time ago," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary, Wednesday, May 1.

However, the former Tangerang Police Chief has not yet identified the identity of the perpetrator. He said the perpetrator was arrested in Palembang while traveling to Jakarta.

"The perpetrator was secured in a palmbang and is currently on his way to Jakarta under investigation and deepening," he said.
