Cimahi Residents Find Long-barreled Firearms Buried In Pool Areas

SUKABUMI - Residents of Cimahi Village, Sukabumi Regency, West Java were surprised to find two long-barreled firearms buried in the soil in the residents' pool area.

"The two long-barreled firearms were found by residents when they were about to fix the fish pond, precisely in RT 02, RW 01, Selajambe Village, Cisaat District," said Head of Cisaat Police, Sukabumi City Resort, AKP Yanto Sudiarto, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 30.

According to Yanto, the two long-barreled firearms were a 9 mm caliber Stand brand with 7,92 caliber and were already filled with mud and rusty.

Not only firearms, but also found three active ammunition caliber 7.92, three bullet casings 7.92 and one projectile. Currently, firearms and ammunition have been evacuated and taken to the Sukabumi City Police Satintelkam.

It is not yet known who the owner of the long-barreled firearm is, but it is suspected that the weapon has long been buried in the ground around the residents' fish pond area, seeing its worn out condition.

Meanwhile, the inventor of a long-barreled firearm, Asep, who is a local resident, said he was surprised when he was fixing the pool and digging the ground found two long-barreled firearms along with bullets.

He then reported his findings to the Selajambe Village Government and Cisaat Police. Not long after, officers from the Cisaat Police and Koramil arrived at the location and immediately evacuated the organic weapons.
