JAMBI - Sarolangun Police, Jambi, continues to hunt down the perpetrators of the rape suspect against a student with the initials FS (17) from Sarolangun Regency.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Sarolangun Police, Iptu Cindo Kottama, said that currently the police are still hunting for three other perpetrators who are still at large.

"There are still three other perpetrators who are still at large," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 30.

A total of eight suspected perpetrators raped FS victims who were minors. Currently, the police have arrested five suspects out of eight suspects who raped them.

The five perpetrators are MBA (21), AA(18), MRZ (16), RA (18), RAU 16 years old. Meanwhile, the three perpetrators are still being chased by the police with the initials Y, R and A.

The victim and his family are scheduled to meet with the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DPPPA). The meeting is related to further legal assistance and proceedings.

"He was given psychological assistance to the victim, because he was still a minor, so he had to continue to be accompanied," he said.
