JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Nurul Ghufron sued the KPK Supervisory Board to the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN).

This lawsuit is listed in the case tracking information system (SIPP) of the Jakarta Administrative Court and registered with case number 142/G/TF/2024/PTUN.JKT. The submission was made on Wednesday, April 24.

Defendant Nurul Ghufron. The defendant of the Supervisory Board of the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission, said in SIPP PTUN Jakarta, quoted on Thursday, April 26.

This lawsuit was later agreed by the Chairperson of the KPK, Nawawi Pomolango. He said he had received information from Nurul Ghufron and that the defendant was only one member of the KPK Supervisory Board.

"Indeed, there is also a lawsuit filed by Mr. NG to the Administrative Court which was also submitted to the leadership," Nawawi said when confirmed, Thursday, April 25.

However, Nawawi as the leader could not do much because the lawsuit or complaint against one of the members of the KPK Council, namely Albertina Ho, was a personal step. The underlying of the submission to the Administrative Court was due to violations committed.

"But it concerns a Council that Mr. NG sees as handling complaints or reports that have expired," he said.

As previously reported, Nurul Ghufron has reported a member of the supervisory board to the KPK Supervisory Board. He suspects there is abuse of authority.

"As a member of the KPK, I have an obligation as stipulated in Article 4 paragraph (2) letter b of Perdewas No. 3 of 2021 states: in implementing the basic values of integrity, every member of the Commission is obliged to report if they know of any alleged ethical violations committed by the Commission Personnel," said Nurul Ghufron to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, April 24.

Ghufron said the alleged abuse of authority reported was in the form of a request for the results of the analysis of financial transactions of anti-corruption commission employees. He said the KPK Council was not authorized because it was not law enforcement officials.
