12 Dividend Deposit Companies In 2023 IDR 545.86 Billion To The DKI Provincial Government

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government received dividend payments or part of the company's profit of IDR 545.86 billion from 12 regional-owned enterprises (BUMD), both the majority and minority shares owned by the DKI Provincial Government.

"In 2023, the total dividend deposit is IDR 545,869,249,987," said Head of the DKI Jakarta BUMD Development Agency Nasruddin Djoko Surjono to reporters, Wednesday, April 24.

Nasrudin said, the dividend value that goes into the regional treasury reaches 100.002 percent or greater than the target set in the 2023 revised APBD.

"The dividend deposit in 2023 comes from the performance of the 2022 financial year," said Nasruddin.

The BUMD and the joint venture that paid the largest dividend was Bank DKI with a value of around Rp. 281 billion. There are also a number of BUMDs that do not pay dividends to the DKI Provincial Government.

Previously, Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono asked the main directors of companies owned by the DKI Provincial Government to further increase profits in order to reduce capital disbursement from the APBD in a creative way.

"If possible, the president directors can seek their own funding. Right, being the president director must be creative," said Heru some time ago.

On the one hand, Heru admitted that he would evaluate the performance of dozens of BUMDs related to the financial performance of each company.

"Everything is evaluated because there is a BUMD Development Agency. We'll see, yes," said Heru.
