He conveyed the problem of vehicle congestion in the Garut area, including the condition of the road area that did not change, while the volume of vehicles continues to increase every year, resulting in congestion on the road during certain momentum such as the Lebaran homecoming season. Another obstacle on arterial roads, he said, is the activity of people along lanes such as the market which hampers the speed of vehicles, resulting in vehicle current congestion. "Volume of vehicles increases every year, and the large number of community activities along arterial routes that can inhibit the flow of traffic vehicles, if there is a toll road, of course this will reduce the volume of vehicles entering the arterial route," he said. He added that large trucks or triaxes that have been the obstacle to vehicle speed will use more toll roads that are faster, safer and smoother. However, the Garut Police, he said, after the toll road, of course, carried out different traffic flow security patterns, such as adding security and patrols at toll gates and also on toll roads.
