Prabowo Grateful That The Process At The Constitutional Court Has Been Completed, Continues To Prepare For The Leadership Transition

JAKARTA The elected President for the period 2024-2029, Prabowo Subianto, responded to the results of the trial for the presidential election dispute at the Constitutional Court (MK) which was announced on Monday, April 22.

"Yes, we are grateful that the process at the Constitutional Court has been completed," said Prabowo, Monday night.

Prabowo said it was time for him to focus on preparing for the future of the Indonesian nation.

"We are now of course making preparations to face the future, I think it's from me," he said.

Prabowo also thanked those who have supported him and worked hard to win the 2024 election contestation.

"Thank you to all the people, thank you for the support, thank you to the Constitutional Court for carrying out a tough task, I think that's all. Thank you to all the elements, all those who have worked hard," he said.

Furthermore, Prabowo revealed that he would make preparations regarding his leadership period in the future.

"We are now of course making preparations to face the future, I think so," he said.

On Monday, the Constitutional Court rejected the request for a dispute over the results of the 2024 presidential election submitted by candidate pair number 1 Anies Baswedan - Muhaimin Iskandar and candidate pair number 3 Ganjar Pranowo - Mahfud MD after reading the considerations of the arguments for the application.

Meanwhile, the General Elections Commission (KPU) will appoint Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as elected presidents and vice presidents on Wednesday 24 April
