Today Is The Decision Of The 2024 Presidential Election Dispute, This Is Traffic Engineering Around Monas And Their Roads Are West

The Central Jakarta Police have prepared situational traffic engineering on several roads following community activities that will express opinions regarding the 2024 presidential election dispute decision. This was done ahead of the trial of the 2024 presidential election dispute decision at the Constitutional Court (MK) building which will take place Monday, April 22.

"Traffic engineering will be adjusted to conditions in the field. If necessary, there will be diversion of traffic flow and road closures," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Pol Susatyo Purnomo Condro, on Sunday.

Some of the traffic engineering adjustments that have been prepared, among others:

1. The closure of the traffic light (TL) Harmoni to Jalan Merdeka Barat, was diverted to Jalan Kesehatan. 2. The closure of Jalan Perwira bound for Jalan Merdeka Utara, with the route diverted to the Mosque and Banteng Field.

In the context of security, the TNI-Polri have prepared 7,783 joint personnel with the support of the Satpol PP and the Transportation Service (Dishub). These personnel will be deployed at mass-prone points around the Constitutional Court Building.

Susatyo appealed to people who pass around Monas to look for alternative ways because of the plan to express opinions at the Horse Statue. He also emphasized the importance of order and maintaining peace in expressing opinions.

"All personnel involved are expected to act persuasively, prioritize negotiations, and carry out their duties according to procedures. No one uses firearms," he said.

Susatyo also reminded the public to be aware of hoaxes that are provocative. He invited the public to continue to pray for the progress and welfare of the Indonesian nation and maintain unity and integrity.
