Allegedly Drug Party, Five Police Arrested In Depok: Currently Examined By Propam

A total of five police officers were arrested by the Metro Jaya Police for alleged drug abuse in the Cimanggis area, Depok, West Java.

It was later discovered that the five members of the National Police had the initials Brigadier FAR, Brigadier Ir, Brigadier D, Brigadier F, and Brigadier DP. The five members of the National Police are members of the Narcotics Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police and the East Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary, confirmed the arrests of the five members of the Police.

"This is the commitment of the Metro Jaya Police Chief so that the Resort Police and the ranks continue to uncover and process all forms of drug abuse," he said when confirmed, Sunday, April 21.

According to information gathered, five members of the National Police suspected of abusing methamphetamine type narcotics served in various units of East Jakarta Police and Polda Metro Jaya.

The five were arrested in Palsigunung, Cimanggis District, Depok City on Friday 19 April.

The raid was carried out by the Sukmajaya Police after receiving various reports from residents that many unscrupulous members of the National Police often gathered suspected of having a drug party.

The five members of the National Police were briefly secured to the Depok Metro Police. Meanwhile, a number of evidences confiscated were 1 Bong, 2 electric Scales, 6 cellphones, 6 matches, 1 match case, 1 match box.

In addition, 1 Sigsauer p320 cal 9 mm pistol with 10 9 mm bullets, 1 magazine, 1 detective badge, 5 KTP 5 KTA, 1 letter.

Meanwhile, the narcotics evidence confiscated was 1 box containing clear plastic clips, 1 bag containing straws, 1.24 grams of crystal methamphetamine (in 5 clear plastics), 1 pack of pipettes and 1 pipette.

Currently, the five members of the National Police are still undergoing examination at the Propam Division of the Polda Metro Jaya.

"It is being investigated by the Propam Polda, the case is being handled by the Polda Metro Jaya," he said.
