Papuan Women Inspired By RA Kartini's Struggle

BIAK - The Association of Women's Organizations (GOW) said that women in Papua have now been inspired by the ideals of National Hero RA Kartini so that she is able to carry out equal positions with men.

This was conveyed by the Chairman of the Women's Organization (GOW) Biak Numfor Susan Karubui Mansnembra in Biak, Sunday, April 21.

According to him, women in this digital era must be brave and appear more confident, independent and cultured.

"With the commemoration of Kartini Day, Papuan women must dare to appear more confident, independent and empowered to become leaders for children, family and work," he said.

He said that every time he celebrated Kartini's Day on April 21, Papuan women were inspired by the struggle for the demands of equal rights with men voiced by Raden Ajeng Kartini.

In RA Kartini's book "After the Dark Terbitlah Terang", according to him, the sweet implied of RA Kartini's long struggle to spearhead the equality of equal standing between women and men in any case.

He hopes that the value of honesty and equality of rights for female character RA Kartini can be a trigger for the enthusiasm of indigenous Papuan women to be able to work and serve anywhere according to their talents.
