LSI: 78.8 Percent Of The Public Believes In KPU's Decision On Election Results

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) noted that 78.8 percent of the public believes in the General Elections Commission (KPU)'s decision regarding the results of the 2024 General Election

"Of those who know the KPU's decision regarding the results of the 2024 General Election, as many as 78.8 percent believe in the decision," said LSI Executive Director Djayadi Hanan when presenting the results of a survey entitled Public Attitude on the KPU's Decision, Court Trial, and National Issues reported by ANTARA, Thursday, April 18.

The LSI survey is in the period 7 to 9 April 2024 with 1,213 respondents interviewed by telephone.

The margin of error is estimated at approximately 2.9 percent at the 95 percent confidence level.

Sari 1,213 respondents interviewed, according to her, as many as 50.7 percent stated that they knew about the KPU's decision regarding the results of the 2024 General Election.

"More than half, 50.7 percent, know or have heard about the KPU's decision regarding the results of the 2024 election. The majority believe in the KPU's decision regarding the results of the 2024 election," he said.

On the other hand, in the findings of LSI, the majority of the public also stated that they were satisfied with the implementation of the 2024 General Election.

"A total of 71.2 percent of the public said they were satisfied with the implementation of the 2024 General Election," added Djayadi.

Of the 71.2 percent, 50.5 percent of them said they were quite satisfied with the 2024 election. In addition, there were also 20.7 percent who said they were very satisfied.
