Strong Wind Hits Bogor Regency Government Office Complex, Fallen Tree, 8 Vehicles Damaged

BOGOR - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Bogor Regency, West Java, said natural disasters in the form of strong winds hit the Bogor Regency Government office complex in Cibinong.

Head of the Bogor Regency BPBD Emergency, Dedi, in Cibinong, revealed that heavy rain accompanied by strong winds caused several trees to fall, causing eight vehicles to be damaged.

Fallen trees occurred in several locations in office complexes, namely in the DPRD Building area, Regent's Office, Social Service Office, Cooperatives and MSME Office, as well as the Office of the Personnel and Human Resources Training Agency (BKPSDM).

"Indeed, the weather is quite extreme, causing trees to fall at several points. In the regional government office, trees also fell," said Dedi as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 17.

Of the eight vehicles damaged by the tree, four of them were parked at the Social Service Office, then three vehicles at the BKPSDM Office and one vehicle at the DPRD Building.

There were no victims in the hurricane incident at the Bogor Regency Government office complex.

The Bogor Regency BPBD team immediately evacuated the vehicles that were hit by a tree, and cut down fallen trees that blocked road access.
