Israeli Attack On Gaza's Al-Maghazi Refugee Camp Kills 13 People Including 7 Children

JAKARTA - A total of 13 people were killed including seven children, and more than 25 people were injured after Israeli attacks targeted the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in Gaza.

Video obtained by CNN from eyewitness Niliad Owdetallah, shows several victims lying on the floor, including children, bleeding around the area.

Dozens of people seemed to be running around panicking, screaming and carrying bodies.

Owdetallah, who lives in the camp, told CNN he heard the explosion at around 15:40 local time, Tuesday, April 16.

I immediately walked to see what was happening and found the bodies lying on the ground. People screaming, the children screaming. The children died on the ground. They only played football, and they were martyred, "he said as quoted by CNN, Wednesday, April 17.

Footage taken for CNN from inside the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital shows the victims and injured people being constantly being escorted in, as the emergency room is packed with patients, including several injured children, crying on the floor.

Videos from inside the morgue at the hospital showed families trying to identify their loved ones among the dead.

Fatmeh Issa pointed to a white body bag with the face of a boy covered in blood, telling CNN, "This is my son."
