JAKARTA - The traffic flow of people's vehicles towards the Anyer-Cinangka beach tourist area, Serang Regency, Banten, on D+3 Lebaran 2024 is starting to become dense.

According to Antara's observation in Serang, Saturday, it showed that the density of vehicles occurred starting from the South Ring Road (JLS), Ciwandan and Anyer Market, the police implemented traffic engineering by implementing a single way system to break down vehicle density.

Thousands of vehicles with Jabodetabek regional number plates, filled the main road to the Anyer Beach Cinangka tourist attraction area.

A resident from Tangerang Imas Damayanti (38) admitted that he left the house for Anyer at 08.00 WIB. "In the morning we left the house, through the JLS there was a road closure for approximately two hours there, until Anyer around 13.00 WIB the vehicle was already crowded," he said.

Imas said he left using a private vehicle together with his family to go to Sambolo Beach or Pasir Putih Anyer.

"The plan is to go to Sambolo Beach or Pasir Putih, we are resting first because the car broke down plus the weather was very hot," he said.

Previously, Banten Police Chief Inspector General Pol Abdul Karim said that reflecting on the long holiday moments during Eid al-Fitr last year, the scheme implemented at that time would also be implemented on this year's Eid holiday.

"We are preparing a one way at JLS to go to Anyer, which has also been implemented since last year in the event of a buildup of vehicles heading towards tourist sites and vice versa," he said.

In addition, the police have also prepared a scenario for alternative routes from Jakarta to Anyer via East Serang or exiting the East Serang Toll Road, which will be directed through Jalan Pal Lima, Paburan, and Padarincang.
