Chandra Kurniawan confirmed the information that the Free Papua Organization (OPM) was the perpetrator of the shooting of Danramil 1703-04 Aradide Letda Inf. Oktovianus Sogalrey. "The victim was attacked and shot by an OPM group in the Pasir Putih area, Aradide District, Paniai Regency, Central Papua, Thursday, April 11," said Lt. Col. Inf. From the report received by Kapendam XVII/Cenderawasih, the incident began when the victim left Makoramil 1703-4/Aradide, Wednesday afternoon. However, wait until tomorrow morning the person concerned will not return. After that, a search was carried out and the victim was found dead due to gunshot wounds. "A moment after being found, the victim's body was evacuated to Enarotali, then taken to Nabire," explained Kapendam. Currently, four cities in Central Papua can be reached by road, crossing the Transpapua road for the Nabire-Enarotali road.

The districts connected to the road are Nabire, Dogiyai, Deiyai, and Paniai Regencies.
