Finding Arsjad And Rosan, Bamsoet Encourages Political Party To Reconcile In President Prabowo's Government Coalition

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly as well as Deputy Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Bambang Soesatyo, expressed his appreciation for the meeting of the Chairman of the National Winning Team (TPN) Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md, Arsjad Rasjid with the Chairman of the National Campaign Team (TKN) Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Rosan Roeslan, at an open house held at the residence of Rosan Roeslani.

The meeting between the two is expected to bridge political parties that support Prabowo Subianto and political parties that support Ganjar Pranowo to unite and join the future government.

"Finally, two friends returned after being in two different camps for a long time. I hope that the meeting of the two can bridge the two camps that fought in the 2024 presidential election to unite in the grand coalition of President Prabowo's government," said Bamsoet after attending an open house at Rosan Roeslani's residence in Jakarta, Thursday night (11/3/24).

The chairman of the 20th DPR RI and the former Chairman of Commission III of the DPR RI for Law, Human Rights and Security reminded that politicians in the political world should not be 'played'. Because, actually politics is like a 'game'. When a game is over, all players must reunite.

"In the world of politics, it is known as Pameo no hard feeling. Don't be easily hurt. Because actually 'politics is the game'. Victory and defeat are part of everyone's life. In politics we can die many times and live many times," said Bamsoet.

The chairman of the Depinas SOKSI Board of Trustees and the Head of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Security, again hopes that in the future President Prabowo Subianto's administration, there will be no political parties that will become opposition. All political parties that fight in the 2024 General Election and are included in parliament can join the governing coalition so that the government can run better and more effectively.

"Once again I emphasize that I fully support if President-elect Prabowo Subianto embraces all political parties to join the coalition. The leaders of political parties also want to join forces and unite steps with the new government so that it is easier to realize prosperity for all Indonesian people," explained Bamsoet.

The Deputy Chairperson of the Pancasila Youth and the Deputy Chairperson of the FKPPI explained that Indonesia did not really know the opposition. Because the democracy adopted by the Indonesian people is mutual cooperation democracy. Pancasila democracy. The presidential system adopted by the Indonesian nation is not like other countries where there are only two major parties, inside and outside the government (opposition). We can do checks and balances without opposition through the existing state law system mechanism.

'The philosophy of democracy in Indonesia does not recognize the opposition. Deliberations for consensus are the hallmark of democracy in Indonesia. We want to build a mutual cooperation democracy. This is the right momentum for all of us political elites to end and close the gap between fellow nation's children in the name of democracy, but threaten the integrity of the nation," concluded Bamsoet.
