Bandung Zoo Allowance Visitors To Bring Food To Protect Botram Tradition

The Bandung Zoo (Bandung Zoo) manager in 2024 allows visitors to bring food from outside to maintain the "botram" tradition there.

Marketing Communication (Marcomm) Bandung Zoo Sulhan Syafii revealed that for the past, picnicing with botram at the Bandung Zoo has been a tradition for many people to enjoy moments with their families.

"This year visitors are also allowed to bring food and drinks from outside, they can 'botram' as well," said Sulhan (Aan) when confirmed in Bandung City, West Java, as quoted by Antara, Thursday.

Because it has become a tradition that peaks on long holidays such as the Eid holiday, Aan said the management intends to maintain this tradition, even allowing visitors to bring their own mats.

"The Bandung Zoo is famous for its former place for botrams. So we don't prohibit visitors from bringing food from outside, and they can bring mats here, if they don't bring mats, we have prepared them to rent their mats so they can flooding comfortably," said Aan.

The special area, said Aan, is also provided by the manager, namely in the pine forest area, but if it is full, visitors can choose another location with a note that it does not interfere with other visitor activities.

"The place is determined in pine forests, but if they are full they can go elsewhere," he said.

Regarding the visit to the Bandung Zoo, said Aan, on Lebaran Day there were around 1,000 more visitors, while this Thursday there were around 4,200 visitors.
