Before The Accident, Rosalia Indah Bus Had A Problem And Changed Vehicles

JAKARTA - The Head of the Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) of the National Police Inspector General Pol Aan Suhanan revealed that before the accident occurred at kilometer 370 of the Semarang-Batang Toll Road, Batang Regency, Central Java, Thursday, April 11, Rosalia Indah's bus had experienced a change of vehicle.

This was revealed by Aan after receiving information from the bus driver, Widodo Line.

"From the driver's statement, the bus had problems and was replaced at kilometer 227 of the Pejagan-Paliman toll road. The vehicle changed, but the driver did not," said Aan during a press conference at the Kendal Islamic Hospital.

Initially, the accident that killed seven people, including the bus conductor who had been pinched, occurred because the bus driver was sleepy.

"From the bus driver's statement, he was tired. Maybe it was caused by microsleeping. As a result, there was a single accident," he said.

The bus was carrying passengers from Bekasi to East Java. When it reached the location of the incident at kilometer 370, the bus exited the lane and entered the ditch as far as 200 meters on the left side of the road. The accident occurred at around 06.30 WIB.

Data from the police, of the 34 passengers (including the driver and conductor), seven people died. While 15 people were injured, and the rest (12 passengers) survived.
