An-Nadzir Congregation Prays Eid Al-Fitr 1445 Hijri At Al Muqaddis Mosque

GOWA Jamaah An-Nadzir performs Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri prayers in the courtyard of Al Muqaddis Mosque, Butta Ejayya Village, Bontomannu District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi, on Tuesday morning, April 9.

The leader of An-Nadzir, Samiruddin Pademmui, became an imam and khatib in the Eid prayer which started at 07.15 WITA. The male congregation was in the courtyard of the mosque wearing a robe with a swab, while the female congregation was inside the mosque wearing black clothes and veiled her face.

Samiruddin said that the implementation of the Eid prayer refers to hadiths, knowledge, and special methodology, with the help of a special application to determine 1 Syawal 1445 Hijri on that day. The determination earlier this month followed the Al Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

"The An-Nadzir congregation upholds tolerance, but we still ensure that it does not deviate from the Shari'a and teachings of the Koran and sunnah," Samiruddin told reporters after Eid prayer.

Samiruddin explained that An-Nadzir has his own calculation methodology to determine the beginning of the hijri month, which he believes is true and scientific based on the teaching of KH Syamsuri's teacher and imam Abdul Madjid.

The Indonesian government through the Ministry of Religion has yet to determine 1 Syawal 1445 Hijri, and will be announced through an isbat session on Tuesday evening.

The An-Nadzir congregation continues to maintain their beliefs and procedures in monitoring and establishing the beginning of the hijri month in accordance with their knowledge and methodology.
