4 Victims Of 2 Day Alcohol Party In Karawang Killed While Going To The Hospital, 3 Others Are Critical

KARAWANG - Four victims of a drinking party in Karawang Regency, West Java, died while on their way to the hospital.

Head of the Karawang City Police, Kompol Suparno, said four victims of the alcohol party died on the way to the hospital.

"Those who died did not get medical attention," he was quoted as saying by Antara, Thursday, March 4.

Kompol Suparno explained information about the victim feeling unwell after drinking alcohol on Tuesday, March 2.

On Wednesday, March 3, the victim was taken by his family to the hospital. But on the way he died and had not been treated.

"The family made a decision, the three victims were immediately buried on Wednesday (3/3). Meanwhile, one more victim died today (Thursday) and was immediately buried," he continued.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Karawang Police, AKBP Rama Samtama Putra, said that there were seven youths involved in the drinking party. Of the seven people, four of them died and three others were so critical that they were hospitalized.

His alcoholic party took place on Monday, March 1 and Tuesday, March 2 at two different places around Bendasari 2 Village, Kondangjaya Village, East Karawang District.

"The team has already processed the scene of the case, and we have confiscated some evidence, and then we will take samples of the remaining alcohol content in the liquor bottle," said AKBP Rama.
