SOLO - Surakarta Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka collaborated with former Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Wishnutama Kusubandio to explore the potential of Solo City.

"That's why I invited Mr. Tama to play here (Wishnutama) to know about this situation," said Gibran in Solo, quoted by Antara, Thursday, March 4.

Gibran hopes that through this visit Wishnutama is interested in exploring investments that can be made in Solo.

"We'll see, what kind of investment. We want this place to be better than now," said Gibran.

Wishnutama was invited to visit two locations in Taman Satwa Taru Jurug (TSTJ) and Studio Lokananta, which is the first music record company in Indonesia.

Regarding the visit, Wishnutama said that the potential in Solo needs to be improved again and in the future there will be a more detailed discussion, both regarding TSTJ and Lokananta.

"I was invited by Mas Gibran to see what potential could be built in Solo. I see this (Lokananta) as a new opportunity for the younger generation in Indonesia," he said.

Wishnutama said that Lokananta can be used as a public space, one of which is a competition for creative innovation that can be developed in Solo.

"This is a discussion again, there are various ideas, it could be the center of UMKM activities too. This is just seeing it," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding TSTJ, said the man who is familiarly called Tama, his potential also needs to be improved. Regarding construction, he will discuss further with Gibran.

Meanwhile, TSTJ President Director Bimo Wahyu Widodo Dasir Santoso said he really appreciated the visit.

"TSTJ has a big dream to be the best in Asia, hopefully with this visit there will be a path for investment, grants, cooperation, and CSR. The important thing is that in the next 50 years our children and grandchildren can see TSTJ even better, including for protected animals, "he said.
