JAKARTA - A member of Anies-Muhaimin's legal team, Zainudin Paru, responded to the issue of the presence of ASN sent by the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) to witness Prabowo-Gibran at the 2024 presidential election dispute trial.

Zainudin assessed that the involvement of ASN as a candidate pair witness proved that the Ministry of Home Affairs was not neutral in holding the 2024 General Election.

"Faktanya pejabat Kemendagri yang hadir pada saksi pihak terkait adalah pejabat dalam negeri, ASN yang datang surat tugas atas persetujuan Sekjen Kemendagri. Ini membukti bahwa nyata ASN kementerian dalam negeri berpihak pada 02," kata Zainudin di gedung MK, Kamis, 4 April.

The Constitutional Court today held a follow-up hearing with the agenda of hearing expert explanations and witnesses Prabowo-Gibran as related parties.

Of the experts presented, one of them is the Director of Facilitation of Regional Heads and DPRD of the Ministry of Home Affairs Andi Batara Lifu.

Then, the Acting (Pj) Mayor of Bekasi, Raden Gani Muhammad, who testified that he did not receive orders from the leadership to help win Prabowo-Gibran.

During the trial, Gani admitted that he had received a letter of assignment from the Ministry of Home Affairs to be a witness today.

"Today I am at the Ministry of Home Affairs as a Legal Bureau at the Ministry of Home Affairs, and at the same time I convey that my presence as a witness here is based on a letter requesting from this TKN to the Ministry of Home Affairs and I was assigned by the Ministry of Home Affairs to be a witness today," explained Gani.
