JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Defense Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) said that currently 111 million plots of land in Indonesia have been certified out of a total target of 120 million fields.
"The remaining 9 million areas have not been certified," said Minister AHY in Jakarta, Wednesday, when inaugurating the South Jakarta Administration Land Office.
AHY said that by 2024 the government is targeting 120 million plots of land throughout Indonesia to be certified. Meanwhile, until the beginning of the year, the certified amounted to 111 million plots of land.
According to him, the target can be completed by the end of the year. For this reason, his party continues to accelerate the implementation of land certificates.
"Regarding the registration of the certificate, we want to pursue the achievements that have been made before. We want to increase land certification throughout Indonesia," he said.
Of the remaining 9 million plots of land, his party will accelerate the Free Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) program so that the target can be realized by 2024.
