Already Received Invitation To Be A Witness At The Constitutional Court, Airlangga: God Willing, I Will Be Present

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto admitted that he had received an invitation to be a witness at the 2024 Presidential Election Result Dispute (PHPU) trial at the Constitutional Court (MK).

Airlangga also stated that he would be present to provide information in the election dispute trial which is planned to be held on Friday, April 5, 2024.

"Yes, God willing, I will attend, I received the invitation last night," said Airlangga when met at the Golkar Party DPP Office, West Jakarta, Wednesday, April 3.

Airlangga also admitted that he had reported to attend the Constitutional Court session to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). "Yes, it has been submitted to attend (to President Jokowi)," he said.

However, Airlangga was reluctant to comment much when asked whether or not there was a directive from President Jokowi regarding his attendance at the trial. According to the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party, all matters related to policy are the duty of the government.

"That's the main task of the government, please explain the government's main duties and functions," he concluded.
