Sue KPU To Administrative Court, TKN Says PDIP Is Not Ready To Lose

JAKARTA - The Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN) considered the strange PDI-P (PDIP) move that sued the results of the 2024 presidential election by the KPU to the Jakarta State Administrative Court (PTUN). The reason is that PDIP and its vice presidential candidates were present during the ratification of the election results and even participated in the signature of the official report. "In fact, he said, PDIP was not ready to accept defeat.

"It's called swallowing your own saliva. I'm not chivalrous, I don't want to admit the election results. From the start, I was not ready to lose," said Nusron.

Nusron assessed that the PDIP lawsuit had the wrong address. The Golkar politician also mentioned that the KPU had been sued about the validity of accepting Prabowo-Gibran's registration as a presidential and vice presidential candidate, but the results were rejected by the Jakarta Administrative Court.

"The wrong address, after all, has been sued by the KPU regarding the validity of accepting Prabowo-Gibran registration at the Administrative Court. The result was rejected by the Jakarta Administrative Court. So this repeats the problem that has been decided," he explained.

Even so, Nusron still respects the PDIP who took this step. He said, each party has the right to file a lawsuit.

"But that's their right to sue, we just respect it," he said. It is known that the PDI-P (PDIP) through the Indonesian Democratic Struggle Team (PDI) filed a lawsuit with the State Administrative Court (PTUN). The General Election Commission (KPU) became the defendant.

"The point of the lawsuit is an unlawful act by the state apparatus, the defendant KPU," said former Supreme Court Judge (MA) Gayus Lumbuun who became the leader of the PDI Team in the Administrative Court, Cakung, East Jakarta, Tuesday, April 2.

Gayus revealed that the act against the law committed by the KPU was to pass Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the vice presidential candidate accompanying Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 presidential election. This institution is considered to have violated the law because it contradicts the principles and norms in the general election (election).
