Vice President Says KY Received 3,500 Reports During 2023

JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin said that more than 3,500 reports submitted to the Judicial Commission (KY) during 2023 proved the public's high hopes for KY.

"I received data reports on the number of public complaints received by the Judicial Commission in 2023 as many as more than 3,500 reports. This number reflects the public's expectations for the Judicial Commission," said the Vice President when giving a speech at the "Submission of the 2023 Judicial Commission Annual Report" which was monitored online in Jakarta, Tuesday, April 2, was confiscated by Antara.

The Vice President expressed public satisfaction with the handling of public complaints can be seen from the value of the judge's integrity index.

"From the reports I received, the judge's integrity index has consistently increased in the last three years. In 2021, the value of the index is 7.41 and in 2023 the value is 7.99," he said.

Ma'ruf also appreciated the judges in Indonesia and also KY for this achievement.

"I ask to maintain what is good and improve that has not been good, especially in fulfilling people's rights and sense of justice and realizing the independence of the justice system," said Ma'ruf.

The vice president said KY was an institution born from a reform movement that became the foundation of the community in guarding independence, integrity, and at the same time the honor of judges as enforcers of justice.

KY, said the Vice President, has built a tradition of transparency to the community in a sustainable manner, as well as ensuring openness to various inputs in order to achieve progress.

Also attending the event were Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Chairman of the Supreme Audit Agency Isma Yatun, Deputy Chairperson of KY Siti Nurdjanah, and deputy members of KY.

Meanwhile, the Vice President was accompanied by the Head of the Vice Presidential Secretariat Ahmad Erani Yustika, Deputy for Human Development Policy Support and Development Equity Suprayoga Hadi, Special Staff of the Vice President for Communication and Information Masduki Baidlowi, and Special Staff of the Vice President for Legal Affairs Satya Arinanto.
