General Manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Handy Heryudhitiawan, said that the airport manager is ready to provide the best service during the Eid Al-Fitr period.

"Looking at the experience in the previous year, Bali is always crowded with domestic tourists during the long Eid Al-Fitr holiday. He explained, during the Eid al-Fitr holiday period, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport is predicted to serve 473,008 domestic passengers and 538,997 international passengers.

This number has increased by 1.36 percent compared to the last 2023 period which was only 998,521 passengers.

During the Eid al-Fitr period, I Gusti Ngurah Rai predicts that the peak of passenger arrivals will occur on Monday (8/4) with 31,388 passengers arriving both domestically and internationally.

Meanwhile, the peak passenger departure occurred on Monday (15/4) with a total of 34,815 passengers departing.

"We also recorded 216 extra flight applications, consisting of 108 arrival schedules and 108 departure schedules, with Indonesian airline Air Asia, Citilink Indonesia, Lion Air, Super Air Jet, and Wings Air," he said.

"As for the capacity that can be served, there are 44,408 seats, or as many as 22,024 seats for each scheduled departure and arrival. We have not received an extra flight schedule for international flights in the Eid al-Fitr 1445 H period," he said.
