M Fathur Rachman said the evacuation process began when fishermen found bodies floating at two points. The first point is in the waters near Gampong Pasi Janeng and the second point is in the waters of Lambaro Beach.

The discovery of the floating corpse, he said, was reported to the Pulo Aceh Police, Aceh Besar Police. Furthermore, the Pulo Aceh Police informed Basarnas asking for help in the evacuation process.

"In addition to Basarnas personnel, the teams involved in the evacuation included Police personnel, PMI Banda Aceh, radio communities, and fishermen. With the completion of the evacuation, SAR operations were closed and the personnel involved were returned to their respective units," he said.
