He said PT Timah Tbk re-opened Registration for New Students (PPDB) for the Pemali Boarding School Program for the 2024/2025 Academic Year at SMAN 1 Pemali Bangka Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, starting April 1-April 25, targeting junior high school students who have graduated to continue their education at SMAN 1 Pemali.

"The Pemali Boarding School program is intended for students who excel, but are economically disadvantaged in the Province of the Bangka Belitung Islands, Riau Islands Province in Karimun Regency and Riau Province in Meranti Islands Regency," he said.

He stated that the Pemali Boarding School Program was a real step for PT Timah to reduce the dropout rate and increase the ability of human resources in the mining circle to be more competitive and competitive.

According to him, the number of students who will be received in 2024 is 36 students who are representatives from each region. The recipients of the scholarship program will take part in a number of series of tests, namely administrative selection, field surveys, academic potential tests, psychological tests, interviews, clinical psychology analysis and validation of health documents and tests.
