JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) said the price of garlic commodities in Salakan Market, Banggai Islands Regency, Central Sulawesi Province (Central Sulawesi), was relatively expensive.
"White garlic is a bit expensive, the garlic is up to Rp. 60,000," said President Jokowi after reviewing food prices at Salakan Market, Tuesday, March 26, followed by the Presidential Secretariat network.

Meanwhile, other commodity prices such as shallots, said Jokowi, are still relatively reasonable at a price of Rp. 35,000 per kg.
"In general, I think the price here is good," he said.

In addition, the President also ensured the availability of rice rolled out by the government through Perum Bulog as a supply stabilization program and food prices (SPHP).
"Earlier, I checked that the prices of basic necessities were also good. There were Rp. 13,000 in rice, the SPHP from Bulog is also available here," he said.
