It's Been A Month, The Killer Of A Girl In South Buton's Kadatua Hasn't Been Arrested Yet

The Baubau Police, Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) is still pursuing the perpetrator of the murder of a six-year-old girl with the initials S in Kadatua District, South Buton Regency (Busel), Southeast Sulawesi.

Head of the Public Relations Section (Kasi) of the Baubau Police, AKP Abdul Rahmad, said that based on the results of the investigation, his party had pocketed the identity of the alleged perpetrator of the murder.

"The investigation led to one of the people we suspect as the perpetrator, and now (The Baubau Police Criminal Investigation Unit Team) is currently working and pursuing the perpetrators," said Abdul Rahmad as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, March 26.

Abdul Rahmad said information about the perpetrators would be published after investigators succeeded in implementing it.

"Yes, it has led to someone, but they cannot be informed, because the person in question by the investigator is still being searched," said Abdul Rahmad.

It is known that the six-year-old girl was found dead in a stone hole in Labuani Hamlet, Kaofe Village, Kadatua District, South Buton Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, last Sunday (25/2). Before being found dead, the victim was reported missing by his mother at the police station.

After three days of being reported missing, the victim was later found dead naked.

"He was reported missing to his mother, the victim who was still in kindergarten school at that time went to school at 07.00 WITA. However, until 10:00 WITA, the victim did not return home, so a search was carried out and was not found, the victim's mother immediately reported it," he explained.
