Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Hadi Tjahjanto said the government condemned the terror attacks that occurred in Moscow, Russia.

"The government condemns the terror attack in Moscow, Russia, which has resulted in hundreds of casualties," said Hadi at the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Building, Jakarta, Monday, March 25, which was confiscated by Antara.

Hadi revealed that the terror act was an uncivilized act. Moreover, he continued, the incident occurred in the month of Ramadan.

"Terror is an act that is truly uncivilized, whatever the reason, because it sacrifices innocent parties. Especially in this month of Ramadan which is full of grace and blessings," he said.

Meanwhile, he said that the government was sorry for the terror attack and wished the best for the victims.

"The Indonesian government expresses deep sorrow. Hopefully all victims can get a place by his side, and those who are injured can also recover soon and can return to their activities," said Hadi.

Earlier, a terrorist attack took place at the Crocus City Hall concert building located in Krasnogorsk, a city located west of the Russian capital, Moscow, Friday, March 22 local time.

Based on data from the Russian Investigative Committee on Saturday, March 23, according to Sputnik, the death toll in the attack was reported to have risen to 133 people.

Then, according to TASS, the Court in Basmany District, Moscow, detained the four suspected Crocus City Hall attackers, Muhammadsobir Fayzov from Monday to May 22, 2024.

The court hearing took place behind closed doors. According to the investigation, Fayzov was tasked with recording the attack on the concert building.

Until now, the court has arrested the four defendants, namely Dalerdzhon Mirzoyev, Saidakrami Rachabalizodu, Shamsidin Fariduni and Muhammadsobir Fayzov.

The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) confirmed that until Saturday, March 23, no Indonesian citizens were reported to be victims of the attack.

"The Indonesian Embassy in Moscow will immediately coordinate with local authorities and establish communication with the Indonesian people in Russia," said Director of Protection for Indonesian Citizens and Indonesian Legal Entities at the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Judha Nugraha in a written statement in Jakarta, Saturday, March 23.
