AHY Denies About Being Destroyed In The Old Kubu, PKB Brings Up The Voice Of The Coalition For Change Political Parties

JAKARTA - Chairman of the PKB Central Leadership Council (DPP) Daniel Johan dismissed the statement by the Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) who said his party could be destroyed if it was still in the old coalition. The old Democratic Coalition is the Collision of Destruction with the NaSdem Party and PKS. Democrats left the Change Coalition after PKB joined and the general chairman became the vice presidential candidate of Anies Baswedan. Daniel emphasized that the votes of his party in the Change Coalition actually increased. "What is certain is that the PKB has actually increased high," said Daniel in a short message to VOI, Sunday, March 24. In the 2024 Legislative Election, PKB received 16,115,655 votes or 10.61 percent. PKB experienced an increase in the number of 10 seats to 68 in the Indonesian House of Representatives. "The fact is like that. Not only PKB, but the entire party supporting the coalition of change," he said. Apart from PKB, NasDem and PKS also experienced an increase in the vote acquisition for the 2024 Legislative Election. NasDem received 14,660,516 votes or 9.65 percent and the number of seats increased by 10 to 68 seats in the DPR RI. Meanwhile, PKS received 12,781,353 votes or 8.42 percent and the number of seats increased by 3 to 53 seats in the DPR RI. Previously, AHY admitted that he was grateful that his party joined the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka coalition. AHY views that the Democratic decision to switch coalitions is the best way. According to AHY, the Democrats will be destroyed if they are still in the old Coalition, the Coalition for Change.
