Police Arrest 'Koboi' Penodong With Senpi In Mampang

JAKARTA - The police arrested two gunmen who used firearms in Mampang Prapatan and two pistols from the hands of the perpetrators.

"On Saturday at around 01.50 WIB in the morning, we managed to arrest the perpetrator with the initials HHR, a resident of Bogor Regency," said Mampang Prapatan Police Chief Kompol David Yunior Kanito as reported by ANTARA, Saturday, March 23.

The arrest of the prisoner was made after the police received a video spread on social media on Friday (22/3).

Officers immediately went to the crime scene (TKP) which was appropriate from the video description. But not found.

The police also searched around the location on Jalan Mampang Prapatan. The search results found information from a witness who heard a commotion in front of the velg workshop.

"The results of checking the CCTV of the velg workshop turned out that the stabbing incident was clearly recorded," he said.

Armed with surveillance camera footage, the police then traced the characteristics of the perpetrator and the vehicle used during the detention. As a result, the perpetrator's address was found.

When the police came to the address, it was found that the perpetrator with the same characteristics in the video was at the house. After being interrogated, the perpetrator admitted his actions.

The team searched the perpetrator's house and found evidence in the form of an airsoft gun and a match gun.

"Furthermore, the perpetrators and the evidence were secured to be taken to the Mampang Police," he said.

For the evidence confiscated from the hands of the perpetrators, including one car, two pistols and clothes used in action.

As a result of his actions, the perpetrator is subject to Article 1 Paragraph (1) of the Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 with the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of 10 years.
