KARANGASEM - A male Russian citizen with the initials LK (51) was arrested by the Immigration Officer of the Class II Immigration Office TPI Singaraja, Bali, for causing trouble and disturbing the community.

Head of the Class II Immigration Office of TPI Singaraja, Hendra Setiawan, said officers secured the foreigner after receiving complaints from the public who reported this foreigner.

Russian foreigners eat at restaurants several times and use spa services but don't pay.

"The person concerned has without permission to enter and forced him to stay at an inn in the Karangasem area," said Hendra, Friday, March 22.

From the report, Singaraja immigration officers immediately went to the location of the foreigner staying to secure it.

"Currently, we are still securing the person concerned at the immigration office," he said.

Hendra said that the security measures against foreigners that had been troubling were a form of immigration law enforcement and also as a follow-up to reports from the public.

"We really appreciate the participation of the community in supporting the maintenance of a conducive situation by submitting reports if they find foreigners carrying out activities or behaviors that are troubling or do not comply with applicable regulations or customs," he said.
