Unlike Prabowo, Anies Visits NasDem Tower Without Being Greeted By Surya Paloh And The Red Carpet

JAKARTA - Presidential Candidate Anies Baswedan visited NasDem Tower, Gondangdia, Central Jakarta. Anies' arrival was after Prabowo Subianto's visit.

Anies arrived at the NasDem Party DPP office at around 17.48 WIB. Arriving at the location, Anies was only greeted by the Chairman of the NasDem DPP Sugeng Suparwoto. When entering the building, Anies just waved without explaining the purpose of his arrival.

Different conditions can be seen when compared to Prabowo Subianto's arrival to NasDem Tower a few hours earlier.

When he arrived at NasDem Tower, the President-elect of the 2024 General Election was greeted directly by the General Chairperson of NasDem Surya Paloh. In fact, Surya even held a red carpet along Prabowo's arrival path to the building.

Raut was happy to color Surya Paloh's face since Prabowo arrived until he left at NasDem Tower. After the meeting took place, Surya admitted that this activity was carried out to maintain the friendship they had made decades ago.

"This visit is a visit to friendship, considering a long journey between the personal and personal relationship between the two of us, friendship for 40 years. So, it is very very natural when I am private and of course Pak Prabowo still wants the spirit of friendship that has been fostered so far to be well maintained," said Surya at NasDem Tower, Friday, March 22.

In the 2024 presidential election, NasDem carries Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar. After the KPU announced the results of the vote, Surya Paloh stated that his party accepted Prabowo-Gibran's victory.

"The Nasdem Party has stated that it accepts the results of the 2024 election which was held on February 14, 2024, both legislative elections and presidential and vice presidential elections," said Surya at NasDem Tower, Gondangdia, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, March 20.

Surya also congratulated Prabowo-Gibran, presidential and vice-presidential candidates number 2 who received the highest votes compared to the two other candidate pairs.

However, Surya emphasized that the implementation of the 2024 General Election was colored by many records from various parties. Many activists from various civil society groups to professors from a number of universities criticized and raised allegations that the election was marked by fraud.

"But whatever it is, whether we like it or not, whether we want it or not, we must accept it," he said.
