Today, Jokowi's Wednesday Morning Leaves For West Kalimantan To Inaugurate Airport

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will inaugurate Singkawang Airport to regional roads during a working visit (kunker) to West Kalimantan (Kalbar), Wednesday, March 20.

As stated by the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat received in Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, President Jokowi left for West Kalimantan via Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base Jakarta. The Head of State and his entourage took off using the RJ85 aircraft at around 07.30 WIB.

Upon arrival at Singkawang Airport, Singkawang City, West Kalimantan, the Head of State is scheduled to review the facilities and inaugurate the airport.

Furthermore, the Head of State is also scheduled to hand over food aid to the community at the Bulog Warehouse Complex, Singkawang City.

From Singkawang City, President Jokowi and his entourage then continued their journey to Mempawah Regency by driving a car to inspect the Mempawah Grade Alumina Refinery (SGAR) smelter.

In addition, President Jokowi is also scheduled to hand over aid to traders in traditional markets, Mempawah Regency and inaugurate a number of roads in West Kalimantan Province.

Also accompanying the President on the flight to West Kalimantan Province, namely the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir, Presidential Military Secretary Major General Rudy Saladin, and Paspampres Commander Major General TNI Achiruddin.

Meanwhile, it seemed to release President Jokowi's departure at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base Jakarta, namely Pangdam Jaya Maj. Gen. Mohamad Hasan, Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Karyoto, Commander of Koopsud I Marsda TNI Mohammad Nurdin, and Danlanud Halim Perdanakusuma Marsma TNI Destianto Nugroho Utomo.
