Police Investigate The Discovery Of A Woman's Body At Kimia Farma Warehouse Samarinda

Samarinda City Police Chief, Samarinda, East Kalimantan Commissioner Tri Satria Firdaus revealed the latest developments in the discovery of a body found in Kimia Farma's warehouse, Jalan P Hidayatullah, Samarinda.

"We have taken investigative steps by collecting information from witnesses and the victim's family," said Satria as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, March 19.

He explained that the autopsy results showed no signs of violence on the victim's body.

"The victim is thought to have died from weakness," he said.

He said the death occurred five days before the body was found in the warehouse of Kimia Farma pharmacy.

His party has examined all employees and six witnesses, but until now there has been no evidence that leads to an unnatural crime or death.

"We are currently investigating this case, including examining the possibility of deleted data in the storage system on surveillance cameras (CCTV)," said Satria.

According to witness testimony, the victim was initially at RSJ Atma Husada Mahakam Samarinda with her husband for treatment. While waiting for the drug, the victim complained of fun, which made her husband go out for a while to buy a drink.

However, when the husband returned, the victim had disappeared along with the medicine given by the hospital.

The search conducted by the victim's husband around the pharmacy and the hospital security guard was fruitless. A few days later, on the 18th, the victim's body was later found in Kimia Farma's warehouse.

"We are still completing various aspects of this investigation and hope that prayers from the public so that the real facts can be revealed," he said.

The police also explained that until now no criminal element has been found in this case. Regarding the sealing of Kimia Farma, Kompol Satria stated that his party would immediately communicate further.
