The agreement was taken at a working committee meeting (panja) to discuss the problem inventory list (DIM) of the DKJ Bill (RUU) at the parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, today. Chairman of the Legislative Council of the Republic of Indonesia, Supratman Andi Agtas, said the government submitted a change in the clause on (DIM) Number 74 of the DPR RI's proposal regarding the mechanism for determining the governor and deputy governor of DKJ, as contained in Article 10 of the draft DKJ Bill which requires that governors and deputy governors be appointed, appointed, and dismissed by the president. "Earlier there was a proposal from the government, although our institutional official yesterday was an appointment, now the government proposes with one different consequence from the DKI Law," he said as quoted by Antara, Monday, March 18. He explained that there was a difference between the proposed amendment to the mechanism for determining the governor and deputy governor of DKJ by the government and Law Number 29 of 2007 concerning the Provincial Government of the Special Capital City Region of Jakarta as the Capital City of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (UU DKI) at this time.
