Once Misses, BMKG Predicts Jabodetabek Rain This Afternoon

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) released the forecasts of weather forecasts in Jakarta and its surroundings today. Until this afternoon, the weather is predicted to experience moderate to heavy rain.

"Early warning for the Jabodetabek weather on March 2, 2021, has the potential for moderate to heavy rain which can be accompanied by lightning or strong winds at 10.05 WIB", as quoted from the BMKG website, Tuesday, March 2.

This rain prediction will last until 13.00 WIB. The temperature is between 24 to 28 degrees Celsius with humidity of 85 to 95 percent.

The BMKG's weather forecast had been missed because the weather in various areas in DKI Jakarta was mostly sunny and cloudy. According to Antara, all areas in Jakarta are predicted to be sunny in the morning.

Rain only occurs during the day, namely light rain in South Jakarta, while East Jakarta is expected to sunny and cloudy in other areas.

Entering the evening, sunny and cloudy weather is predicted to occur in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands, while two other areas, namely South Jakarta and East Jakarta, are cloudy. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, March 3 in the morning, the entire Jakarta area is predicted to be cloudy.

For the updated weather forecast, Until this afternoon, the weather is predicted to experience moderate to heavy rain.

The areas that will experience moderate to heavy rain in Central Jakarta are Kemayoran, Gambir, Senen, Cempaka Putih, Menteng, Tanah Abang, and Johar Baru.

Rain predictions in East Jakarta include Pulogadung and Matraman. In North Jakarta includes Tanjung Priok, Koja, Cilincing, Kelapa Gading. In West Jakarta covering Palmerah. In South Jakarta covering Kebayoran Lama.

Meanwhile, the rain in Tangerang City includes Ciledug, Tangerang, Cibodas, Cipondoh, Karawaci, Pinang, and Karang Tengah. Tangerang Regency includes Legok, Pagedangan, and Kelapa Dua. In South Tangerang covers Serpong, North Serpong, Pondok Aren, and surrounding areas.

Rain until this afternoon is also predicted to spread to a number of areas. In West Jakarta includes Tambora, Grogol Petamburan, Taman Sari, Cengkareng, Kebon Jeruk, Kalideres, and Kembangan.
