PPP Denies Offered By Minister Of Home Affairs To Reject Question Rights

JAKARTA - The United Development Party (PPP) has denied the issue of being offered ministerial seats from the elected presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs in the 2024 presidential election. Provided that the party bearing the Kaaba symbol rejects the right to question the alleged election fraud which was launched in the DPR.

"It is not true that there was an offer of a ministerial seat to PPP," said Acting Spokesperson (Plt) of the General Chairperson of PPP Mardiono, Imam Priyono, in a message received Monday, March 11. According to Imam, the attitude of the PPP faction in the DPR RI which has not yet decided on the right of inquiry to election fraud is because it is still reviewing the benefits and disadvantages for the people. "Regarding the prudence of the party in deciding the issue of the right of inquiry, it is more about PPP's efforts to conduct studies and what benefits will be received by the community, as well as the growth of democracy if the right of inquiry is still rolled out," explained Imam.

Imam also emphasized that until now PPP is still focused on maintaining vote count starting from the polling stations, sub-districts, districts, provinces and national levels. "Of course it is not true if it is stated that PPP cannot maintain votes. Because we continue to do various efforts, especially with what we all know that Sirekap itself is still receiving criticism and input from the public," said Imam.

"The United Development Party is still overseeing the recapitulation process, while continuing to conduct in-depth studies, especially regarding the right of inquiry, especially its impact on the political and economic conditions of the community in the future," he concluded.
