JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI has reopened the second phase of Lebaran 2024 additional train ticket bookings for 24 trains which can be ordered starting Thursday, March 7.

"With the addition of 24 trains for this second phase, currently KAI has added 48 additional trains for Eid. Previously, KAI had opened an order for 24 additional trains for Lebaran for the first phase which could be ordered starting Wednesday (6/3)," said Vice President of Public Relations KAI Joni Martinus in his statement in Jakarta, Saturday, March 9, quoted by Antara.

KAI noted that based on data monitoring on Saturday, March 9, at 11.30 WIB, long/medium train tickets that had been sold during the period D-10 (March 31) to D + 10 (April 21) were 1,197,698 tickets or 40 percent of the total tickets provided were 3,009,733 tickets during that period. The number of tickets sold will continue to increase because sales are still ongoing.
