JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI has reopened the second phase of Lebaran 2024 additional train ticket bookings for 24 trains which can be ordered starting Thursday, March 7.
"With the addition of 24 trains for this second phase, currently KAI has added 48 additional trains for Eid. Previously, KAI had opened an order for 24 additional trains for Lebaran for the first phase which could be ordered starting Wednesday (6/3)," said Vice President of Public Relations KAI Joni Martinus in his statement in Jakarta, Saturday, March 9, quoted by Antara.
These additional train tickets can be ordered through the Access by KAI application, the kai.id website, and all other official online sales channels. Meanwhile, the counter at the station only serves go show ticket sales starting 3 hours before the train departure schedule.
Joni said the additional second phase of KA-KA is available for favorite connection trips such as Jakarta-Cilacap pp, Jakarta- Malang pp, Jakarta-Semarang pp, Bandung-Solo pp, and others.
"KAI adds several trips on various routes and classes to accommodate the high interest of people using trains at the moment of Eid. The presence of these additional trains shows KAI's readiness to provide transportation facilities for customers who want to travel during Eid and a form of KAI's commitment to serve the community as well as possible," he said.

KAI noted that based on data monitoring on Saturday, March 9, at 11.30 WIB, long/medium train tickets that had been sold during the period D-10 (March 31) to D + 10 (April 21) were 1,197,698 tickets or 40 percent of the total tickets provided were 3,009,733 tickets during that period.
