Bawaslu Calls Tabulation Missing In Sirekap A Sign Of Problem

JAKARTA - The Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) said the tabulation or presentation of data in the form of diagrams or rods lost in the Recapitulation Information System (Sirekap) signifies a problem.

"It indicates that there is a Sirekap problem, right," said Bawaslu Chairman Rahmat Bagja as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, March 8.

Bawaslu will remind the General Election Commission (KPU) regarding the loss of the schedule or data bar for the 2024 Presidential and Legislative Elections in the Sirekap real count (real count).

"We will remind the KPU later. If the system has been repaired, of course there must be changes," he said.

Meanwhile, Bagja said that his party is currently communicating with the KPU on other topics.

"Not yet, we are still communicating about Kuala Lumpur's (re-voting) problem tomorrow," he said.

Previously, Bagja also had time to respond to the loss of tabulation in Sirekap and questioned it.

"What kind of SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) should be? We ask first to be temporarily dismissed to correct. The question now, has it been temporarily suspended or what?" said Bagja at the Indonesian Bawaslu Building, Jakarta, Wednesday (6/3).

Bagja then reminded the KPU that the system that had been created was still guided by the SOP.

"Not to mention that the system that has been built does not show what should be displayed," he said.

Meanwhile, KPU member Idham Holik revealed the causes of the diagram to the chart for the votes acquired by the presidential and legislative elections in the 2024 election in the real count of Sirekap suddenly disappeared.

He explained that currently the KPU will only present authentic evidence for the results of the vote acquisition, namely the C1-Plano Model Form or a record of the 2024 election vote count results.

"Now the KPU policy only displays authentic evidence of the votes acquired by election participants," said Idham when confirmed in Jakarta, Tuesday (5/3).

The C1-Plano Model Form at each polling station (TPS) is a form read out by the sub-district election committee (PPK) in calculating the votes acquired by election participants. Then, written in the Appendix of the Model D. Results.

The C1-Plano model will later be entered into Sirekap to be scanned for data. However, Sirekap has not experienced it once or twice, resulting in the number of voice acquisitions being scanned and in the C1-Plano Model being different.

Idham assessed that the inaccurate data actually caused prejudice to the public. Therefore, the KPU changed the format in displaying the results of the recapitulation.
