MAKASSAR - Mayor of Makassar M Ramdhan Pomanto (Danny Pomanto) has stopped the project at Metro Tanjung Bunga. The road widening project and other facilities previously came to the attention of the Governor of South Sulawesi Nurdin Abdullah.

Danny Pomanto emphasized that he would prioritize the COVID-19 pandemic prevention program in the Makassar City Government.

Danny Pomanto emphasized that the Metro Tanjung project was discontinued.

Previously, the Governor of South Sulawesi, Nurdin Abdullah, inaugurated the Amphi Theater for the Phase 1 widening of the Tanjung Bunga Metro Street on Thursday, February 25.

"We will not continue the Tanjung metro road project, the budget will be used for handling COVID which has been far from the maximum", said Danny Pomanto.

Danny Pomanto and the deputy mayor of Makassar Fatmawati Rusdi in a briefing meeting with the leaders of regional apparatus organizations appointed 16 executing officials for the Makassar city government.

"To accelerate the work of the government, it is necessary to immediately fill the vacant positions, there is no political grudge, there is work here. Even if there is a change it is a natural thing, not because of revenge but there are moral and moral consequences", said Danny Pomanto.

Also, Danny Pomanto affirms the direction conveyed in Danny-Fatma's vision and mission.

"Today direction's lies in the vision and mission, which do not want to follow will no longer be here", emphasized Danny.

This was done not as an act of revenge, but as the enforcement of moral consequences.

"I have been traveling around the city of Makassar, finding complaints from the public regarding several facilities that were turned off. Home care was removed without cause and explanation. All of this will be returned because it is needed by the community", he continued.
