PKS Asks All Factions In The DPR Not To Be Afraid To Propose Questionnaire Rights, Including Political Parties In KIM

JAKARTA - Member of the PKS faction in the DPR RI Syahrul Aidi Maazat, asked all factions in parliament to participate in proposing the right of inquiry related to the alleged fraud in the 2024 General Election. Including parties that are members of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM). Syahrul assessed that the factions whose party currently supports the pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates who excel in the 2024 presidential election do not need to hesitate to use their constitutional rights. "As members of the council, he has the right to supervise. The task of this board member is to supervise, if he doesn't feel wrong why he is afraid," said Syahrul to reporters, Wednesday, March 6.These members of Commission V DPR RI assessed that the proposal for the right of inquiry needs to be followed up so that allegations of fraud in the 2024 General Election can be properly investigated. Moreover, some parties have evidence indicating fraud. "We who feel that there is a mistake may suspect it because there is an indicator, the indication is like that," said Syahrul. Meanwhile, there have been 3 out of 9 factions in the DPR RI that firmly proposed the right of inquiry in the plenary meeting for the opening of the IV session in 2023-2024, yesterday. The three factions are PKS, PKB and PDIP. Meanwhile NasDem and PPP have not taken a stance regarding this proposal for angket right. The five political parties are political parties outside KIM. Meanwhile in KIM, only Gerindra and Democrats rejected the right of angket.

According to Syahrul, the right of inquiry is important to trace the current election process which is considered to be fraudulent. Therefore, Syahrul asked all political parties in parliament not to be afraid to propose the right of inquiry if they feel they did not make mistakes in the presidential election yesterday. "So those who are on the party there (KIM) don't have to be afraid. Moreover, his duties as a member of the council and that is the constitutional right," he concluded.
