DENPASAR - Kuta Police Chief, AKP I Ketut Agus Pasek Sudina said the motive for foreign nationals (WNA) from Russia, Vladimir Kolesov (40), went on a rampage destroying a restaurant with an ax because of a breakup. This foreigner first consumed liquor.

"So he drank a bottle of alcohol, he was in a lot of trouble. So he was immediately drunk. He said drinking this, his confession was due to breaking up with his girlfriend here, local people living in Bali, only he did not say who," said Agus, Tuesday, March 5.

Not only raging at the Capri, Seminyak, Badung, this Russian foreigner also swung an ax while on the beach.

"He's random, he's not just angry there, on the beach he's shaking an ax, on the fences. There are some places, not just in the restaurant. So there is no specific motive for revenge with the restaurant owner," he said.

This Russian foreigner was emphasized by the police to continue to be prosecuted. Kolesov has been named a suspect and detained at the Kuta Police Headquarters.

"He was convicted. We have immediately named (the suspect) and detained him," he said.

The perpetrator was charged with Article 1 Paragraph (1) of the Republic of Indonesia Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 and or Article 406 of the Criminal Code.
