Residents Call Grandpa Suspected Of Obscene Perpetrators In Cakung Diligently Worship And Often Become Mosque Imams

JAKARTA - A number of residents of Ujung Menteng Village, Cakung, admitted that the alleged perpetrator of sexual abuse with the initials IK was an elderly man (elderly) or grandfather who was diligent in worshiping at the mosque. In fact, IK perpetrators also often become imams when praying.

"That's right, the (religious) leaders are yes. He is diligent in worship, not diligent. If he prays, he becomes an imam (at the mosque)," said the head of the local RT, Eliani, to reporters, Monday, March 4.

According to local residents, IK is suspected of having committed the depraved act against 7 young victims, since a few months ago.

"We reported in early December. We still look at the family (perpetrators). We subside first," he said.

But instead of repenting, the perpetrator's actions returned to being. The perpetrator is suspected of repeating his actions with a different victim.

"In February there was a report from the residents, if a grandson was treated inappropriately. There were residents who also received sexual harassment or sexual abuse," he said.

The perpetrator's actions were again revealed after one of the victims complained of pain in his genitals while urinating. The victim then reported to his parents.

"There are complaints from the child himself. His cheeks hurt when asked by his parents. The victim (averagely aged) 10 years and under," he said.

Dozens of residents raided IK's house in the Ujung Menteng area, Cakung District, East Jakarta. Residents admitted that they were angry with the actions of the perpetrators who had not been detained by the police even though there had been many reports of cases of sexual violence against children.

The head of the local RT, Eliani, said that seven victims had reported to the East Jakarta Metro Police and were directed by the police for a post-mortem. However, the results of the old post-mortem (out came the results).

"The victim's family wanted to hurry up, but the police have stages. The perpetrator is already at his house (who had not been detained)," Eliani told reporters, Monday, March 4.
