The Head Of Drugs At The Bima Police Was Beaten With A Bottle Of Alcohol While Buru, A Dealer At The Cafe

Head of Drugs at the Bima City Police, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), AKP Tamrin is suspected of being a victim of persecution while carrying out the task of developing narcotics cases in one of the cafes in the area.

"Yes, at that time his head (AKP Tamrin) was hit by a drink bottle (alcoholic) which resulted in a torn wound to the forehead," said Director of Drug Investigation at the NTB Police, Kombes Deddy Supriadi, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, March 4.

The persecution that befell AKP Tamrin took place in mid-February 2024. At that time, Tamrin and his team were developing a narcotics case by hunting down one of the cafe visitors.

"When he entered, Tamrin saw a cafe employee arguing with someone," he said.

Tamrin, who saw it, immediately intervened between the two parties. When reducing the action, Tamrin got a blow from a man with the initials A.

"Perpetrator A hit his head with a drink bottle," he said.

Members of the Narcotics Unit of the Bima City Police who saw the incident immediately arrested perpetrator A along with a visitor with the initials S who was caught red-handed carrying a sharp weapon.

"That night the two perpetrators were taken to the Resort Police on suspicion that perpetrator A carried out the persecution and S carried a sharp weapon under the emergency law. For Tamrin, he has received medical treatment," said Deddy.

In developing the narcotics case at the cafe, the Bima City Police Narcotics Unit Team secured 16 pockets of methamphetamine ready for distribution.

"For the owner, this is what is still being sought, because as a result of the beating, the owner fled," he said.
